May Jewels
Born in Chicago, Mickey May Berger returned to Israel with her family in 1974. She began studying jewelry design in 1995 and opened her own store in 2000. She is excited to have her two daughters carry on the family legacy in Israel and America.
Yael Berger, Mickey’s younger daughter, began studying jewelry design under the distinguished Israeli artist Efrat Nordman. From a very young age Yael demonstrated a very strong interest in design and smith. Yael was always enamored with her mother’s jewelry design and began assisting and creating her own jewelry as a teenager. Now she is a designer and smith at May Jewels. Leeron, Mickey’s eldest daughter, expresses artistry in her passion for sharing her family tradition and creating a healthy lifestyle for her clients.
Efrat Nordman is a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. May Jewels is proud to have Efrat’s jewelry on display as part of the collection.
“Giving the gift of a jewel is giving a gift from my heart. When I sit down with you, together we design a unique and personal piece of art. I have the honor and privilege of customizing your vision of beauty. “ -Mickey Berger
