Brenda Holzke
Brenda Holzke has been a commercial ceramicist for nineteen years. Self-taught, her designs have been sold in retail stores such as Barney's, Neiman Marcus, Pottery Barn and many more. She has produced private label designs for Starbucks, Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, Pier One and others.
Holzke's true passion lies in doing one of a kind hand-built ceramic works. Here, she has created "Artifacts," an exploration of shapes and forms inspired by relics from ruins around the world reinterpreted in an urban way. Brenda Holzke has created fine art that is both ancient and contemporary, equally at home on a modern table and an ancient tribal hearth.
